I, For One, Welcome Our Robot Overlords…

It's alive

An ingenious young fellow by the name of Joe Bowers wasn’t just satisfied with playing the Rock Band iPhone app himself. Instead, he built something to take over for him. Joe recently created Skynet a robot that is capable of taking over the world independently playing the Rock Band app for the iPhone. I wouldn’t even know where to begin on making something like that.

Rock Band iPhone App: 30% Off This Weekend!

Rock Band on the iPhone

I know this is a busy weekend for everyone.  Halloween is tomorrow, which means most of the day will be spent putting the finishing touches on your costume for that big Halloween bash you’re going to, and most of Sunday will be spent in the shower scrubbing off that makeup that claims it washes off easily (I know, I’ve been there).  But you’ve got an extra hour this weekend because of Daylight Savings Time.  Why not spend $6.99 for that Rock Band iPhone/iPod Touch app (this weekend only), and play for an extra hour.  C’mon, treat yourself!

You can download the app here, or just visit the App Store on your iPhone/iPod Touch!

iPhone Rock Band App is Live!

iTunes - Rock Band

At least, it’s live right now on iTunes in Australia and New Zealand.  UPDATE: It came out for the US at midnight Eastern last night, download it here. As you can see, this is the International version, and in Australia it is priced at $12.99 AUD (with 2 song DLC packs for $1.19 each), which converts to just under $12 US, although I’m still standing by my $9.99 prediction.  And although I cannot confirm it, since it is Monday right now in Australia and New Zealand, I’m assuming that the app will be released tomorrow in North America.  Here’s a link to the app if you don’t believe me, but it may only work if you are logged into Australia’s iTunes store.

Check out the pictures from the iTunes store below!
