This should help soften the sting of Friday the 13th!  We already saw the rumor about the AFI 5-pack.  And we also saw the official announcement earlier today of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band coming to the Beatles: Rock Band next week.  And we’ve got one other confirmed track making it’s way to Rock Band next week…

Xbox 360, PS3, Wii:

It appears that we have five songs coming to us as DLC for next week, which is lower (quantity-wise) than recent weeks.  Not sure about the the total count for the week after, but we will be seeing at least another five tracks from AFI alone.  To coincide with their tour announcement (link at the bottom for all the juicy details), we will be seeing a five pack from them.

Those yearning for more AFI will soon have their wish granted.  According to a recent Reuters piece, AFI will be coming out with five songs in October.  No word yet on what those songs may be, but as soon as I find out, they’ll be here!

Looks like someone was able to dive into the code of this week’s DLC and find some clues for next week’s DLC.  Not sure if these songs are definite for next week, but I would bet that these will show up sooner or later.  Some of them are tracks from Rock Band: Unplugged, which is just about 3 months after it’s release (if I recall correctly).  Anyway, check ‘em out:
