That looks fantastic. Day one purchase for sure. I’ll be checking the App Store on a daily basis until this comes out.

  • rockbandaide says:

You and me both, sir! Looks like it was submitted for approval today, and should hopefully be out next week!

  • HazyCloud says:

Hell yes. That’s great news. I’ll be sure to tweet it when it shows up.

  • Francesco Poli says:

Awesome, looks even better than I hoped! Goodbye, Tap Tap Revenge with your dreadful song selection and hideous charts.

  • AltStrum says:

Wow, all of the sudden I need an iPhone.

I wonder why they made the vocals section all tap-based as well. Seems that the iPhone could handle singing into it. Other apps process voice, methinks.

  • Sgoast says:

I’m a little disappointed that the Verizon game has more songs, (No Squeeze? For shame.) but what do I care? I don’t have a phone from either!

  • rockbandaide says:

It appears that the iPhone app functions nearly identically to the Rock Band Mobile game on Verizon (no singing, either), but the iPhone app has additional functionality, including Bluetooth multiplayer and ability to purchase additional content. They probably also left out the ability to sing into the iPhone for the vocals piece because you would have some guy on the train next to you singing 30 Seconds to Mars… not as cool as it sounds.

  • JODIsBack says:

Wow, even more of a reason for me to get an iPod Touch.

  • RedIon1992 says:

    YES YES YES F*** YES!!!!

If I wasn’t getting an iPhone already… I sure as hell am now.

  • kero99 says:

“Check out the in-game Music Store to purchase additional tracks from OK Go”

Does that confirm new OK Go songs? Or are they just re-releasing “Here It Goes Again” ?

  • rockbandaide says:

I would assume it’s safe to say they’re just re-releasing “Here It Goes Again” for the iPhone app.

  • Jordan says:

Will we get the full songs? I have RB Mobile on my enV 3, and I don’t get full songs :(

Got a Question for Me?
