RGS

RockGamer Studios took an intensive course in Rock Band authoring at Harmonix HQ in Cambridge, MA. Only a select few individuals were offered the chance to be personally instructed by the game’s development team. We’ve learned tricks from the masters that have helped raise the quality of our products one step above the competition. Our team members have worked for top-tier video game companies such as Electronic Arts, THQ, and Ubisoft. We understand the game development process. We know what gamers are looking for, and aim to deliver a top-quality gameplay experience with every track. Members of the RockGamer Studios authoring team have shared the stage with world-famous artists such as Sting, Jethro Tull, Mötley Crüe and the B-52s. We know what it’s like to play in front of thousands of fans, and our mission is to recreate this adrenaline rush on the virtual stage, using the cinematic and lighting tools available to us. Most members of our authoring team have hundreds, if not thousands of hours of Rock Band playing experience. The team includes some of the most proficient “technical” Rock Band players in the world… as well as two members of The Gurn Killers, the reigning 2008 Rock Band national champions. What does this mean to you? Let’s just say we’re very passionate about what we do, and it shows in the quality of our work.

We are an experienced team of individuals designed to work together with musicians, bands, and record labels to bring music into the Rock Band gaming platform through the Rock Band Network. Through streamlined processes, focused expertise, and quality control measures; our team aims to maximize sales and exposure for songs and artists as quickly as possible. Aside from original recordings, we professionally author all content required for submission, including: multi-track stem mixing, note charts, in-game camera, staging, animation and lighting events in order to deliver a fun, accurate, and musically engaging experience for all gamers to enjoy. Joseph Cirri, Sean Feica, Andrew Dovichi, Greg Litvin, Andrew Funk, Dave Barley, and Nick Bruno traveled to Boston on March 2nd, 2009 [four months prior to RBN being announced] for the first meeting concerning what would eventually be known as the Rock Band Network. Harmonix explained what the Rock Band Network was going to be and how they wanted our help with getting the community off the ground.

TrackAuthors
Track Authors has been involved with Rock Band Network since the very beginning. We’ve been working with Harmonix since day one, and are dedicated to helping Rock Band Network reach its full potential as a music distribution outlet. We want to author great music into great tracks, because we love Rock Band. We want good music, and beautiful gameplay. We focus on not only charting your song correctly, but making the stage show beautiful and accurate. We work to make your track fun to play in the game as well as as musically accurate as gameplay allows. We spend days working on the finer aspects of your track. We customize the lighting, the closeups on the band, the smoke, the pyrotechnics, and everything else that can possibly be customized in the game. We will work with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the Rock Band representation of your music. It’s important to us that you are happy with the end result. We will also assist you in promoting your tracks once they are available in the Rock Band Network store.

After spending many years in the game industry, our team saw an incredible opportunity to work with the creators of Rock Band (Harmonix, MTV Networks) to get more music – from local bands and labels, to big names and major players; in short, anyone into Rock Band 2. Comprised of a team of seasoned and creative individuals with years of experience in video game production as well as music, animation, lighting, pipeline development, debugging, web design, and rawking out, Bombsite Studios is the perfect choice to chart your original music for the Rock Band Network.

Noble Rhythm

Are you an independent musician? In a band? Are you looking for an easy way to bring your recorded music to the wildly-successful and industry-changing Rock Band rhythm game franchise? What makes RBN so exciting, and also a bit daunting, is that your songs will be created using the same advanced charting and animation system that Harmonix uses. This is where Noble Rhythm comes in. We are proud to join the ranks of creators who have assembled the right mix of computing, gaming, audio production and sequencing skills required to master Harmonix’s professional-grade authoring tools. What makes Noble Rhythm unique is our philosophy, our approach, and our easy-to-use, fully-featured song upload interface. The Rock Band Network was envisioned by Harmonix to grant anyone the opportunity to sell their music on its award-winning rhythm game platform, and Noble Rhythm has adopted the same mission. What this means is that we are determined not to be a content gatekeeper. We’re artists too; we’re not going to pretend that we’re a record label. On the other hand, we’re also not going to pretend that you’re buying a product. When you upload your music to Noble Rhythm, you become our creative partner; a collaborator, not a client or a customer. Noble Rhythm has created a robust account system that gives you an easy and secure way to upload your master recordings, song information, and lyrics.

Interactive

We here at Interactive Music Productions knew we could make a difference when Harmonix announced the RockBand Network. We are working with several bands in our local and regional scenes to help give them greater exposure and an entirely new connection to their fans. Let’s not forget a potential new revenue stream. The world is more connected now then ever. This allows us to share our skills with that world. We are able to work with any band that has their own music and dreams to be heard. You supply the song, we handle the rest. We are a small group at this time, but have the hopes to grow as this new medium grows. We are a few individuals working side by side to get the music heard. There are many companies out there that can help and, if you don’t choose us, please choose someone or get yourself on the network. Here at Interactive Music Productions we believe nothing is more important than being heard.

Notesferatu

After we are done, you get to keep all your royalties from Rock Band Network sales. You did the work to create the music, and you deserve all the fruits your creation bears.

We know music and the music biz better than anyone and working with the Rock Band Network has been very natural and fun for us. All of those hours of transcribing music as a kid has really paid off now.

So we opened up LehakatRock.com, a portal for our songs portfolio.  Making songs for Rock Band is so much fun, especially since we’re a group of musicians and an avid Rock Band player.
