Our goal at Alt-Strum Productions is to be the forerunners in a new age of digital distribution and artist promotion for the music and gaming industries. Working through Harmonix and the Rock Band Network, we will personally author, from an artist’s original work, programmed content which will be sold as playable Rock Band tracks to an audience of millions that might otherwise go untouched. We will also promote the Band and sales of the Rock Band tracks through our website and other viable channels. We believe that the music gaming industry is poised to be the next revolutionary form of interactive digital distribution and our goal is to assist bands from every genre into making that transition, reaching more potential listeners and ultimately promoting themselves and their sales in all forms of distribution.
Whats better than playing your favorite song on Rock Band? Having other people playing YOUR songs on Rock Band! Asenath Rockband Authoring was formed to do just that. Starting as a means to get our own songs from our bands into the game, we then thought, there are so many really great bands out there that we would all love to play. We are now focusing on creating tracks for genres that we know and love, unlike other places that may not know the slightest thing about your songs and vision. We have been moved by the music we wish to track and post, so much ,that we prefer to cater to the genres that we listen to on a daily basis. We have a vast array of experiences ranging from a variety of different musicians, audio techs, programers, animators, designers and people who are just really really good at the game. But we all share a common interest in darker and louder music. From Metal, and many of its sub genres… Goth Metal, Death Metal, Thrash, Symphonic to Punk, Post – Punk, Goth and Industrial. Music that has been a part of our daily lives. We feel that this genre of music has been put to the way side by the game , that when this opens up , we will jump at the chance to help get the music we love out there.
With an extensive music and audio engineering background along with programming experience, as well as a passion for great music and games; Audio Four Games possesses all the necessary skills and tools to take full advantage of the Rock Band Network. Audio Four Games will work with recording artists, music labels, and music distribution companies to bring their music to the Rock Band Network in an effort to bring the best possible interactive entertainment experience to fans, and to increase music exposure through the Rock Band music platform.

The Authority are situated a stone’s throw from Harmonix headquarters in Cambridge MA, and maintain close ties. The three Authority founders, having prepared The Slip’s “Even Rats” for Guitar Hero 1 (considered an early Guitar Hero classic) were invited to take part in the closed Beta testing for the Rock Band Network (RBN). After extensive training with Harmonix, and subsequently Authoring many songs for the initial release of RBN, The Authority were included on Harmonix’ exclusive Recommended Authors List, a group of fewer than twenty-five people worldwide.

Gamer Beats was formed by a small group of video game industry professionals, with design and production experience spread across such companies as EA, THQ, and F-I. We are all quite crazy about music and Rock Band, and so decided to pursue our passions and become a Rock Band charting group. Gamer Beats will initially focus on bringing well known bands in under-represented genres to the RBN, in addition to helping indy bands we love share their music with a wider audience.
When the initial excitement of the Rock Band Network announcement finally sunk in, we knew that there would be bands interested in getting their music in Rock Band, but might not have the knowledge to make that happen. We are a small company, dedicated to exploring interactive music, gaming, and new business models. We pride ourselves on faithful and fun music translations. We here at Interactive Music Productions knew we could make a difference when Harmonix announced the RockBand Network. We are working with several bands in our local and regional scenes to help give them greater exposure and an entirely new connection to their fans. Let’s not forget a potential new revenue stream. The world is more connected now then ever. This allows us to share our skills with that world. We are able to work with any band that has their own music and dreams to be heard. You supply the song, we handle the rest. We are a small group at this time, but have the hopes to grow as this new medium grows. We are a few individuals working side by side to get the music heard. iStave was founded in September 2009 to be the leader in the authoring/charting songs for bands to get their music on Rock Band Network (RBN). So we opened up LehakatRock.com, a portal for our songs portfolio. Making songs for Rock Band is so much fun, especially since we’re a group of musicians and an avid Rock Band player. Combining our skills in creating and designed games and our musical talents gives us the best approach to creating the best arrangements adapting exising song into Rock Band gameplay. Lehakat Rock, which literally means Rock Band in Hebrew will become the leading portal for Israeli Rock Bands and artists to announce and promote thier bands and songs to the Rock Band gamer community and will include announcements and details about the bands and songs that are planned to be sold through the Rock Band Network.

RockGamer Studios took an intensive course in Rock Band authoring at Harmonix HQ in Cambridge, MA. Only a select few individuals were offered the chance to be personally instructed by the game’s development team. We’ve learned tricks from the masters that have helped raise the quality of our products one step above the competition. Our team members have worked for top-tier video game companies such as Electronic Arts, THQ, and Ubisoft. We understand the game development process. We know what gamers are looking for, and aim to deliver a top-quality gameplay experience with every track. Members of the RockGamer Studios authoring team have shared the stage with world-famous artists such as Sting, Jethro Tull, Mötley Crüe and the B-52s. We know what it’s like to play in front of thousands of fans, and our mission is to recreate this adrenaline rush on the virtual stage, using the cinematic and lighting tools available to us. Most members of our authoring team have hundreds, if not thousands of hours of Rock Band playing experience. The team includes some of the most proficient “technical” Rock Band players in the world… as well as two members of The Gurn Killers, the reigning 2008 Rock Band national champions. What does this mean to you? Let’s just say we’re very passionate about what we do, and it shows in the quality of our work.
Rock Your Own Band (RYOB), established August 2009 in Milwaukee, WI, was created on the heels of Harmonix’s press release heralding the Rock Band Network. Created by guitarist/songwriter Jaek Pachniak, the company serves as a solution to musicians and labels interested in distributing their music through the RBN. RYOB has a mission statement of providing the highest quality charts for the most affordable prices, quickest turnaround, and strives for 100% satisfaction for its customers. RYOB’s staff blends real-band experience with classical training and a love (if not obsession) for rhythm games.
We’ve spent the last 15 years working as full-time musicians. During that time frame we built our own studio and have been recording various bands and our own side projects. We know music and the music biz better than anyone and working with the Rock Band Network has been very natural and fun for us. All of those hours of transcribing music as a kid has really paid off now.
