UPDATE: Just got notified from Alex Navarro over at Harmonix that sadly this is not true… my heart is broken. So what did I learn here… not to pick up rumors from wrestling forums.  Sorry!

Pantera made a brief appearance at the end of the original Guitar Hero, and again as DLC for the game Rock Revolution.  However, based upon a tip posted online here, it appears that Pantera may finally be making an appearance in Rock Band!  Supposedly, an advertisement was played immediately following the songs “Cemetery Gates,” and mentioned to look for this song and five others!  Based on the source (message board), I normally wouldn’t put too much weight behind this rumor, but as they have already been released as DLC for another rhythm game, typically that means that another game may also be seeing their content, so I wouldn’t doubt this one at all.  Look for them hopefully the week of August 4th.
