Friday Followup – The Vines
How did Twitter react to the announcement of The Vines as next week’s DLC? With a resounding “meh.” The pickins were a little slim this week, so we’ve only got a few, so check ‘em out below!
Don’t get me wrong, waking up the news of songs by The Vines in Rock Band 2 is good and everything, but I can think of a few other things that I would like to wake up next to… No, not that! CUPCAKES!
You’ve never heard of the Vines or Sweet Billy what’s-his-name? For shame, sir.
That’s the spirit! Does it help that “Get Free” by The Vines will have Pro guitar charting for Rock Band 3?
I can respect this. I don’t expect everyone to like every week of DLC. At least he didn’t make some stupid request…

Didn’t say they were good… but I did say at the top that there were only a small handful of comments at all.

Well, the Vines practically have one great song and that song is in RB3. All other Vines songs are bad copies of Get Free.

They have a lot of hidden gems. Mix between the ballads and some hard stuff. Underrated band IMO.

As a Muse fan this constant push for their songs is starting to get a bit much. I don’t get why the majority of people can’t just enjoy the variety we’re getting. And if you don’t like what’s out one week, look on the bright side that you’re saving money.

Omg Muse is so bad.. you people need to realize this.. of course you won’t because you see the rock band charts and are like OMG they are good.. have you heard them live? HES SOOOOOOOO of pitch from the live recordings its BAD!

Actually they’re pretty good live and they sound very close to the actual recordings. Having seen them live back in March I can actually attest to that fact.
