Green Day: Rock Band Cover Art
Big shout out to @BrittenKinley for sending this my way. From a Green Day site down in Brazil comes this little morsel. Could this be the cover art for the forthcoming Green Day: Rock Band game? Or could this be a fairly decent photoshop? I could use the help of you Rock Band sleuths out there… real or fake?

I’m not sure how to feel about this game, since it feels like HMX is forcing these band-specific games on us (Beatles, GD, Jimi possibly), and yet I think Green Day was a great choice for a modern band.

I think it’s easy to tell when it’s photoshopped or not, but where I found this and such i doubt they would use photoshop. And we haven’t even seen this cover before on google images so it could very well be the cover art
Even if it is ‘shopped, it still looks hella awesome. I really want this game (along with RB3 now obviously lol)because it’s gonna be exportable to future RBs. Can’t wait.
Sloppy looking and obnoxious. I love it, fits the game perfectly.
For what it’s worth, I didn’t know Billie Joe went back to being blonde. Not sure if that’s a key to it being real or not.
Maybe photoshopped… mainly because Billie Joe is playing his GIBSON Les Paul Jr., not the Fender he plays in the trailer. I dunno, something about it seems completely fake.

And Jordan, he doesnt actually play his Fender Strat in American Idiot. HE uses his Gibson.

Whether it’s real or fake, I think it looks sick! I’d definitely be happy with that box art, but if it’s fake, I won’t really care.
It’s fake. No “Requires instruments to play” warning on it and the border color is way too light.
As far as being “shopped”, of course it’s photoshopped. I don’t think the band has ever played that close together in front of an explosion with a giant logo of a to be released game hanging over themselves.
As far as it being the actual cover, I’m not sold. Doesn’t look that tight. Not sloppy, but just not tight.

LMAO I imagine seeing such a photo shoot take place..
The best ways to tell is the lack of disclaimer for compatibility with controllers, and the NTSC thing in the top right is cutting a little into the name
