I was going to review LEGO Rock Band but if you don’t know what a Rock Band game is like by now then I can’t help you — and I know we all hate lists, but this is a strong one on reasons why you should buy LEGO Rock Band.

10.) You Are Supporting the “Not Having Seven ‘Hero’ Games a Year” Movement.

While Harmonix does indeed offer DLC every week, they do not over-saturate the rhythm market to the point of it being in your face every other month.

9.) Easy Achievements

Its those great kind of achievements that you get just by playing the game. No searching every level for a hidden skull or any crap like that, just play your best and you’ll end up with more than half of the 1,000 gamerscore points.

8.) It’s For Everybody

Seriously, this game is for every single person, drunk players or families have lots of options:

‘Super Easy’ mode where players only have to strum the notes at the right time (you can hold down ANY fret button) There is an option available to automate the kick pedal for the drums for kids with short legs or those with leg disabilities. There’s a toggle for the short “radio edit” version of a track design for young children with short attention spans.

7.) Challenges

Yeah you go on tour, but while on tour there are many crazy challenges that await you. These challenges are a huge part of the game and make it a little different than playing regular Rock Band, in a fun way. An example: a song plays while you fight of a giant damn octopus! It’s cool, you still get money and fans.
